Perky1106
PES feels wonderful this year. Smooth and fluid, while fun and simple to make attacks and goals. It's a complete reversal of roles from the PS2 days. Now PES is the fun game and FIFA is the realistic game. I'm definitely buying both this year. Also the Master League on PES is so much more in depth and a hell of a lot more fun than manager mode on FIFA. I think I'll be doing the QPR challenge, or West London Hoops or whatever they're called. Take them to European cup glory.
StaffsRam
^^ Get the PS3 version - Option Files are very easy to implement for PES, so it'll be QPR in no time instead of East London Rimjobs or whatever bullsh1t name they give them. Still trying to get over them calling us East Midlands Stags a few years ago. *****.

I had 2009 on PC and it was great. Like PS3, it's easier to get option files that make the PL teams real and you can also get a Championship option file that changes the spare teams for editing into nPC teams. Also, with the stadium editor people can make a pretty decent portrayal of Pride Park. Looky here. Leeds Ram
played on fifa demo with another human, much better than against the computer, has the potential to be a cracker, wish they implemented the pes stadium editor though, that looks brilliant. FIFA are funny buggers about licenses etc so they probably wouldn't be happy about people making real life stadiums and that. But with PES it doesn't hold official licenses for most things so there isn't much for them to care about.
Day
How much of the stadium do you actually see when you're playing? sounds like a waste of disc space if you ask me

But when you're a bit of a geek like me it's satisfying seeing it all in the opening scenes. Makes it seems authentic, even when it's your Derby County team that's 5 years into the future on Master League thrashing the likes of Barcelona in the Champions League. StaffsRam
Last year's PES had a few good things going for it. One of the better things was that you could upload your own chants and assign them to specific teams. Made for a brilliant match environment. Sadly the gameplay was still poor so I ended up trading it in.
Day
You can do that on Fifa 11, I uploaded some Girls Aloud
StaffsRam
I'm not sure how it works in Fifa. In PES you can assign specific chants per team per certain actions (goals, match wins, freekicks, general chants etc). Is that the same as Fifa? Day
Erm, trying to remember now I know you can change it per team when the players come out and when they score, there is a couple of other options but it's been that long since I did it. StaffsRam
It's a nice little tweak that you can make either way, I'll have a look later.
Perky1106
I might change the settings so when Derby score at home there is a very quiet round of applause. And when the away team score there is a roar ten times louder than the home fans. And a horribly out of sync sing along to Steve Bloomer's Watching at the start of matches.
