Mate I got it from him Muespach and Dangerous when I first joined up. Seems they have switched fire since. Just ignore.

Even Rio loved Coxs goal. That definately confirms its class...

(but I have to say, Cox's goal was superb, for me, the best piece of skill I have seen for a very long time..if Messi had scored it they would be creaming themselves on Sky Sports news.....worthy of goal of the season?...but don't tell anyone I said that)

IMO [url=http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/user/953-ambitious/]Ambitious has the most ballanced view of all the Derby fans on here.

I've also noticed the that a lot of the Derby fans on here are now pinning their hopes on beating Forest in the 2 league games.

It's almost as if they have given up hope of finishing above us in the league & are praying for a face saving win.

It's early days & this league is full of teams that can win a top 6 place. ( Hard league ) If Derby stop letting in goals every game then top 6 is poss. If they can't get a few clean sheets I think they will be lower mid table. Forest also could get top half if they can build on their good start.

This league isn't hard...it's very poor....the thing with it is, 80% of the teams are at the same, poor level.

It is not a poor league imo. There are so many games I enjoy going to and watching on tv. I watch the PL too but cannot stand it when its on sky and they are proper rimming themselves like the Newcastle Everton game all I heard was 'what a great advert for the premier league'

Yep, great advert. Three poor refereeing decisions that had a direct impact on the run of the game, Everton could've won that 4-2.

Agree the championship is better than others say, although when it's poor it's extremely poor. The premiership has it's fair share of crap though, same with the champions league.

I haven't seen it to be honest... I'm sure it was from what i've heard.

I can't help but be slightly aggravated by Forest - it was looking fantastic in the summer... no-one seemed interested in buying the club, players were leaving in their numbers and Cotterill was the man in charge.

Then the arab owners came in, who naturally I assumed to be dodgy and watching Gunter being sold and lots of Kuwait players come into the club I was rubbing my hands in anticipation - I thought it was going to be a fantastic year.

Yet I look at the Forest team now, and they've built up a good team, certainly in the midfield and striking positions, strength in depth and fairly good players not to the extent some people dream up, but they have improved no doubt - unbeaten early on, something I didn't envisage for them and we've took parallel paths early on.

I expect in the end we will be close in the league table - guarantee no more than 10 points between us either way which is staggering really when you think Forest have built this team within so many months.

Both teams will try and put a display on when we meet at the city ground, I always feel confident in local Derbies with this team, they seem to work that extra bit harder for them.

Try reading it again & you could see it from a diffrent point of view.

I say Derby could finish in the top 6 yet Forest I only say could finish in the top half. Is this gloating ? WOW if it is you must see everything as a WUM. You can get help for that.

When the season started lots of the Derby fans were saying they would finish above Forest. Read this thread & see for yourself.

Now they say we will beat you just like last season & dont really mention finishing above Forest so much.

Please feel free to put the record straight & tell us where you think Derby & Forest will finish ?

There are sides below them that play better football though. Stokes saving grace is that they compete and do well against the sides challenging for the title, but that's all they can do. Give the opposition a difficult game, hard to score against, nick a goal here and there.

I'm not sure why Forest fans come on here, we are absolutely no threat to their worldclass team whatsoever.. You won't find Man Utd fans gloating on a Stockport County forum so why are the European heavyweights picking on a little town like us?

I personally have no idea, Forest haven't looked very convincing but are sitting high in the table early doors, Derby look like a decent footballing side but lack consistency which has been typical over the past few years.

Too early to tell.

just like to know why you think forest havent looked convincing?im not saying we are going to win the league or anything or even get to the playoffs,but if i was a non supporter any tuned in to forest recent games id say the are damn convincing.
