I love how Derby fans get their knickers wet over a couple of flukes one pal advantage wins in which they were hardly the better side in either.

5-2 guys. Could have been 10-2. Now that's a result to be proud of.

Yep, sure.

Just as our 4-2 and 3-0 victories a few years ago could have been 6-2 and 5-0.

Swings and roundabouts - all totally irrrelevant now.

Taken from a neutral source - www.chavtowns.co.uk:

Here we have it, the Top 10 Worst places to live in England for 2012. This list is based on the volume of comments on Chavtowns.com. We have applied for access for the police.uk API, so next years figures should take the volume of anti-social of behaviour in the area as well!

8. Nottingham

Jaded Agoraphobic says: “I’ve lived there all my life and I don’t think I’ve ever been into town, day or night, without seeing someone being attacked or harassed, or some dregs of society having it out in the street”

Only number 8 though?? God only knows just what that says about Gravesend!

Its as if Florist are on the verge of winning the Premier League with all the high spirits of beating the leagues newest club. Any sniff of trying to make it sound like its doom and gloom at PPS and you are on it.

For the last 3 seasons Derby failed to reach round 2 of the LC, so nothing new there... admit it, you were hoping for a high profile manager and got SoD (don't say you are happy about that and all the ******). Signed nobody players with the likes of Ayala who is utter ***** (IMO)... Still would rather be in our position than been driven by those muppets from the desert.

Awwww, you don't like us being happy, do you? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> The bits in bold is hysterical. Yes, I really wanted Sven to come in and blow our transfer fee on mercenaries and give out 30k a week wages to slightly above average players in the Championship, and I really wanted Hoddle because he's never been controversial has he? I didn't want a high profile manager (McCarthy was the highest profile I wanted), because it never works. I wanted O'Driscoll after the McClaren fallout, and I was gutted that O'Driscoll had gone to Crawley at the end of the season. So I was pretty bloody happy that we got him.

And nobody players? Sorry, we should have bought Jermaine Beckford and Darius Vassell because they're big name players, or maybe we should have gone after Richard Keogh. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I'll admit, Ayala didn't have a great time with you from, but Hull and Norwich fans raved about him before he joined us, and lets be honest, they're both better teams than you.

Of course, I'd much rather be in Derby's position, with a board that's happy to be midtable Championship with a manager having to bargain buy from the lower leagues whilst we have a set of owners who are aiming to get us into the Premier League but aren't going to blow mental money doing so. Oh, and they haven't put a step wrong since they've took over.

Red_Dawn is really scraping the barrel now. He's heard about universities though, maybe he went to Derby and failed?

You can't argue that your signings have been all middle of the road championship players - not knocking it, but I prefer our way of going about things, because we don't know what we're going to get and no-one knows what to expect.

Whereas Forest have signed players who're all pretty well known around the championship, which is arguably buying 'proven' players but as I said earlier - you spend 500k on a established championship defender/midfielder/striker and that is what you're going to get, nothing more, nothing less.

Whereas in the past we've gone for a few gambles, both from the prem, and from the lower leagues, and sometimes in the championship - not all of them work, for instance Moxey, Croft, Pringle...etc but it's exciting when you find some that do, and arguably we've done that fairly successfully, otherwise we wouldn't of finished top half last season.

Jacobs for example, first game and 5 assists. I can't wait to see more of him!

Yes, we can see.

It's a shame you haven't had much chance to celebrate Forest success over Derby.

5 wins since 91 eh Staffs? And we've won 5 since 09?

Forest have finished above Derby 4 times in the last 16 seasons too?

Is that right Staffs? My memory is *****. I remember how quiet this thread was last season.

I love Yeovil.
