Bigger average !

More successful & coming to get you ha ha

LOL

im trying to understand this!!

let me put it in simple terms (one that you might understand)....the figures you gave were for 2008, where you had a slightly larger following than us (37,668,663 to 37,630,301) total difference of 38,332. average attendance of 17668 compared to 17309. difference of 359.

we move onto 2011 where your total attendance was 39,264,960 compared to ours of 39,577,724 meaing that we overtook you by 312,764.

meaning that over a 3 year period (2008 - 2011) our attendance overtook yours by just over 274000. an additional 90000 per season.

therefore our support is greater....

tell me please how you are ''coming to get you''??????

Indeed. In the 15 years since we moved to Pride park and were no longer capacity constrained, Forest have had a higher average attendance in only one season, 2003-04.

Nottingham urban population 660,000

Derby urban population 230,000

Halve notts' population to account for the original Nottingham club (being generous here) thus......

Nottingham 330,000

Derby 230,000

Derby's average attendance is well over 10% of the population.

Forest's is about 7%

Stick to ice skating.

Is there a European cup for Ice skating

I bet we would win that as well 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Let's be honest. There is absolutely nothing else to do in Derby.

In our city we have 2 football clubs (somewhat successful), a rugby team, cricket team, the national ice hockey champions, MMA gyms that have fighters competing in the UFC and the 3x world super middleweight champion.

Derby has.

Erm.

Pride park.

Torvil and Dean won it in 81, 82 and 84. Two Nottingham sports stars and you didn't know that? Are you from Nottingham or just one of those that jumped on the bandwagon when Cloughie was in charge?

i agree to a point.....but do all of these sports take part at the same time ie, 3pm on a Saturday afternoon for example?

cricket is played in the summer (we also have a cricket team albeit not as successful as Notts)

boxing isnt really anything to compare is it? as far as i know you dont get a season ticket for boxing!!

No I m just trying to highlight the variety of sporting success the city has..

Obviously Notts County often play at the same time as us. And iv known people to go straight from the City Ground to the Panthers game. Done it myself a couple of time.

Not to mention a higher number of robberies, muggings, rapes, knife crime, gun crime, drug users and illiteracy amongst children & adults. You're right, there's something for everyone...

So what you are trying to say is that Forest are that crap now that "fans" rather watch egg-chasing or figure-skaters with sticks? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Things must be really bad at the shitty ground

It's weird how none of our signings/ potential signings are better than any of your players, especially considering your teams highest finish in the last 3 seasons is 12th.

Which was last season where we finished well above you and gives us chance to compare Ayala with what we have and he is no better.

is funny that, it's like we are one sided, tbh he a good defender but did try to do to much and got into trouble.

Ayala is not a championship centre back at all - no grit or determination in him what so ever! I think he would be more suited to another country, he isn't bad on the ball - The swiss centre back we had on trial reminded me of Ayala in the way he receives the ball and plays with it, but as we saw when he came up against Adebola/Platt..etc he doesn't get pushed around either and stands his ground - I remember Ayala being a ball playing centre back who had a good standing tackle but was poor at marking his man and was easily smothered by strikers.

6/10 in this division!
