ramsbottom
Whenever a best XI is picked it's always using 4-4-2 and the same old faces are select so I thought it'd be interesting to use our current system instead. I think it makes it a bit more interesting because players who are normally a shoe-in (McMinn, Hinton, a number of strikers) would struggle to fit in. So what do you think??? And before you ask, yes, I am very bored today. Mine would be... ----------------------Shilton Webster------Mcfarland-----Stimac------Forsyth --------------Gemmil---------G Williams --------Eranio---------Biano---------Asanovic ----------------------Hector
Boycie
So you mean all time second best? Surely all time best won't really change much?

Ambitious
How about the best team in this formation with the players you've seen, that could work better. -----------------------------Poom Laursen------------Riggot---------Stimac-------------Powell -------------LeeCarsley--------------- McGrath Eranio---------------------Asanovic-----------------Kinkladze ----------------------------Baiano care to guess my age? I know Kinkladze might seem an odd choice, but on his day.. he was mouth watering!

rynny
I like that idea Ambitious. Is that Paul Mcgrath? Do you not think he would be better suited to a CB position? From your team I would say you were around the same age as myself (24) maybe a year or 2 younger, as a couple of players like Simmo aren't included. My team would be: Gk-Mart Poom LB-Chris Powell CB-Igor Stimac CB-Danny Higginbottom RB-Stefano Eranio DM-Seth Johnson DM-Lee Carsley LAM-Kris Commons CAM-Francesco Biano RAM-Tommy Smith CF-Gregorsz Rasiak This of course is from players I have seen live in the flesh, there were some very difficult decisions, but this is what I came to. rynny
yeah he played for derby loads of times... Lee Carsley? 138 games Rodders and he definately would get into any team from the last 20 years without a doubt, in fact he probably would get into this current team!! Ambitious
I was about to say, I remember him celebrating his 100th appearance for Derby all them years ago, was a major reason we got promoted and a major reason we did so well in the premiership, he left and we simply never replaced him.. with him it was very much, you don't know what you've got until it's gone! Alex W
Ba-dum-dum-tish. I have got that right? No! lol. I was a big fan of Ghaly when he was up for it, i'm having a hard time thinking of players atm, and he was a class above when he was up for the match. Would have loved him back here if possible, I don't think he wanted to stay when Jewell offered him a contract.
