Used to play a lot of FM. Now it's generally 5-10 hours every fortnight but if i ever had a week where i had nothing to do I'd quickly get a lot of hours on it. My current save I went from buxton getting them into the conference and 1 game away from league 2 (lost to giant Wrexham 4-0 in the playoff final) then moved to carlisle as they refused to go professional. Took carlisle to the championship, Left them 14th at Christmas and took over a flailing derby who were fighting relegation in 21st. Finished 12th, axed a lot of the overpaid dross and bringing in Scandinavian players on the cheap.

Might as wellndo a transfer update for 25 and concentrate on 26 as a full release. I like 24 as a match engine and probably won't update to 25 in March as its a waste of time.

Yeah I've had a moan on the FM forums 😛

TBH given its a new engine, new UI, new graphics etc they would be better releasing FM25 in March as a free beta and using the feedback to make sure that everything is fixed and works for FM26.  They could also spend the extra time putting back in all the features they had cut from FM25 as well 😕

If they do launch FM25 as a full priced product in March are they then expecting us to buy FM26 a few months later?  If so, other than an updated database I can't see what new features it would gain in such a short space of time.  Better to bite the bullet imho, allow months of beta testing FM25 and building back the goodwill/anticipation for FM26.
