HAZ
I think if Brayford maintains the standard he's playing at at the moment throughout this season then I can see loads of Prem teams going for him.

Perky1106
English players tend to be worth far more than those from abroad. I'd say Bailey is probably worth the most at the current time due to being an English attacking player. Though Brayford is worth equally if not probably 100-200k less. Cywka's value is probably worth £1m at the moment but if he keeps playing anything like he did last Saturday his value could rocket. He has also played for Poland at U18, U19 and U21 level so if he is lucky enough to get a first team call up for Poland then you never know how much he could end up being worth. But, apart from Commons, I'm not anxious about players making an exodus. I am pretty sure they are enjoying their football here and would want to see out their contracts. If we ever to make the PL I'm sure Cywka, Brayford and Bailey would stick with us and make themselves part of the adventure as much as they could. I'm very happy and excited to be discussing players like this who are ours and are exciting prospects. Since Huddlestone's exit, our young English talent has been very rare. Our squads have been full of journeymen and Scottish players past their best.

I dunno about the since Tom Huddlestone bit, I didnt really rate Huddlestone at the time he was at Derby for some reason and in recent times we had both Giles Barnes and Miles Addison who where hot properties and attracting growing interest from the premier league untill injuries struck. ariotofmyown
Tha Yanks plan seems to be to get us into the Prem with cheaply bought players who aren't on much money, making us a very attractive proposition for new owners. Therefore there seems little point in selling these type players unless someone makes us an offer we can't refuse. Re-investing these funds into big transfers would just mean big wages too and we already seem to have the capital to spend modest sums on the likes of Bailey, Brayford. If we keep Commons will probably depend on who else offers his a contract. We aren't gonna match a big wage increase, in fact we might offer him a wage reduction depending what he is on now. I really hope he stays, but if he does go somewhere that would pay him more, I trust Clough would be able to replace him with some more Bailey/Brayford style signings. With Commons injury history, his next contract might be his last big one so can't blame him if he goes somewhere for the cash, or wants to have a go at a higher level if we don't make it. Duracell
I'm stunned by that, sure Cywka is skillful and comes up with magic stuff but he's also pretty weak and too often doesn't deliver the final ball. Brayford and Bailey will be solid premiership players in my opinion, Cywka is brilliant on his day but not consistent enough A foreign forward is always over-priced. I think Bailey and Brayford are better players, but Cywka is more valuable financially.

smiffy
what about Barker? His value has decreased how he has performed for the most part this season, maybe its because he is NOT fit, but for what reason he is not the player he was last season. He is slower than Savage:rolleyes:

Alex W
No...i agree with Smiffy....he's been slightly disappointing for me. Barker .....£750k at the mo. Hes not trained for 6 months, he's not going to be fully fit till well into December. Playing games will get you fit quick, but if you're not training you're going to stay at pretty much the same level of fitness.
Donny Ram
Given that the papers are reporting one of the PNE CB's worth £4m (BBC Sport - Gossip Section), plus he played the full 90mins against Derby, I feel Barker has got to be well over £1m and pushing the £2m level.
