angieram Posted July 20, 2023 Share Posted July 20, 2023 I'd like to see him on the pitch at the beginning of a couple of pre-season games instead of Collins. Bird played a couple of cracking through balls last night that caught Collins offside because he has to go early due to his lack of pace. Brown would have latched on to them. When Brown comes on as a second striker it creates space for Collins as there's an extra striker for the defenders to worry about, but I'd like to see what he could do alongside Mendez-Laing.
