jimbo jones
150-0 to 376-7 is a decent fightback, the pitch looks excellent for batting, and any hope of taking advantage of the grass on the pitch early obviously didn't work. Our new ball bowling has been a problem all season, we don't take wickets and go around the park at 6 an over. That's not a recipe for success. Not sure why it took so long for Scrimshaw to bowl, but he made a big difference when he did. 14 overs, 2 wickets, economy rate of 3.00 with fast hostile bowling is exactly what we need. 3 wickets for Thomson at an economy rate of 2.59 was very good for a spinner on the first day of a game. jimbo jones
Two wickets in 5 balls for Scrimshaw, great start to the day. who’d have thought the giant fast bowler would be useful with a red ball 🤔

If we were in the quarter finals I don't think he plays in this game.
jimbo jones
Two very contrasting innings going on, Brooke Guest very watchful 43 off 131 balls, while Madsen has been going along at a run a ball for the most part, now 43 off 48 balls as we go to tea 129-2. jimbo jones
50 for Madsen and then he gives it away, looping one up in the air off the spinner. Got himself in a bit of a tangle, not really sure what he was trying to do...very unmadsen like. Du Plooy dropped in the slips on one
