it just ..sort of happened, word sort of got round, that big things were happening at the BBG..

back end of the 68/69 season..sort of thought..''i'll go take a look''...hooked ever since.. 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

sort of...

Yep, I'll go along with that. I had bust me leg on me motorbike and had nowt to do for a few months. we kept hearing about a couple called Clough and Taylor and some guy called Kevin Hector. I wasn't even that interested in football but once I set foot inside the BBG and stood on that Pop Side that was it. Only one team for me, whatever division they're in.

Dad took me & Mo55y quite often but we found out later that he wasn't particularly a football fan. Elder bruv was a Clough fan and even followed a certain team in red when he managed them.

Mo55y has been to a lot more matches than me. That's what falling in love (me with my wife that is) can do. Anyway, long way from Brum!

Followed Liverpool between 82-87, then stumbled upon a certain phrase - 'glory hunter', and realized that I couldn't support them anymore.

Half of the family's from Derby, the other half from Stoke - no contest. No regrets, even now.
