My guess would be he's 'dropped down' because we have so few players available at that level. We've named a number of U16s in the starting lineups and on the bench this season already. Fast forward two years and Lowe’s loan was the making of him and he’s starting in the PL while Clarke is playing at a lower level than he was back then.
