loweman2
I wonder if we will be talking about this in fifty years time ? when Derby from the second tier knocked one of the big boys out of the league cup ! Brian Clough did it exactly fifty years ago by knocking First division Chelsea out of the league cup and that was when the journey started ! could we be heading in the same direction as that team and management duo ? Another little bug bear of mine is the fact that there is not more of this stuff around, these were the great days ! Never bettered and yet there is nothing to show the younger generations what is wa all about ! why the club have not got all of this stuff is beyond me, and I know for a fact they haven’t got it, they rely on the same you tube clips that the rest of us have to watch. surely a letter (sorry email) to itv and the bbc requesting copies of the old footage couldn’t be to difficult. ??
