The regular doomsayer of winter weather is that prat at Exacta weather who the Daily Express roll out as soon as the equinox passes. You don't read that hate-spewing organ, do you? /the Memsahib does, and she said the same rubbish this morning

Stagtime
Well, come end of September we have our Brisbane festival with river fire on as I type, so that’s the end of our cooler season and on with our summer season. Must say it has been a very mild winter over here. 27 today and just perfect.
uttoxram75
Wimped out today and put the central heating on. For the dog and the Cockatiel rather than myself ?

uttoxram75
Smells like bonfire night round here, log burners blasting out everywhere, unless of course its the charred remains of Stoke's hopes of a quick return to the Prem wafting on the wind..... AmericanRam
Toya tends to get cold easily so have it on now when she stays over, but when it's just me I generally tough it out as it were and only turn on when extremely cold.
