All his signings were generally good.

Curtis Davis - an excellent signing, a true bargain

Tom Huddlestone - a very good, one of the most consistent performers

Tom Lawrence - a very good, he's can still become an even better player than he is at the moment

Joe Ledley - a very good at the beginning, later he lost his level a bit

Andre Wisdom - good, although he isn't the same A. Wisdom from four years ago

Cameron Jerome - good, finally started to score regularly

Sam Winnall - a good addition to the squad til his injury

Kasey Palmer - good, a lot of flair, but not used enough

Davies by a long way. Done well across he season. I think we knew he was a solid signing at the price but couldn't have imagined he'd play as many games as he has. Pretty confident he can offer a lot next season too.

The advantage he has over others is he fits the system, where others require changes to incorporate them.

Honourable mention for Jerome who against everybody's judgement has been a catalyst for recent results, Huddlestone who's had some fantastic games with often little support and Winnall who didn't get a lot of chances made sure Butterfield wasn't in the picture.

Got to be Curtis for a paltry £500k. As one Hull fan posted, '£5 million for Hudds AND Davies!!! Derby have dry-bummed us all over the park.'

We may have been ripped off on the likes of butterfield and Blackman, but maybe it all evens out with a few good deals like this.
