RamLad1884
Reading norwich managers interview after they signed wildschut he's come out with the line 'he's still learning the game' at 25 years old. When is a player expected to know the game then?
uttoxram75
Depends on the player, 16 was enough for Will Hiughes but 36 won't be enough for some!
cheron85
I'd really rather think that players never stop learning the game...

Definitely, i'm better at the Cryuff turn now than i was when i was 20. I think things like awareness and the ability to read the game come far more naturally to some than others. I can't even spell Cruyff let alone do his turn, oh maybe I can
uttoxram75
Ah, i see, You're talking about Johann Cruyff the famous Dutch and Ajax player of the early1970's. I'm talking about Bert Cryuff who played in the Uttoxeter Sunday league in the late 70's....
Duracell
There have been a few players in Derby shirts over the years where I've wondered if they even knew which game they were supposed to be playing.
angieram
Quite pertinent as Tom Ince was 25 earlier this week. I'd say he's still learning the game. You can see him improving all the time under McClaren's tutelage. Bent, he's learning a new role for us and he is almost due to retire. I think the best players are those that are continuously looking to improve, to learn and adapt.
