Van der MoodHoover
I thought last season that Carson had work to do on his positioning for shots as he seemed to be getting beaten by a fair few 20 yard pea rollers. He seems to have sorted this so basically is a very good keeper. Very solid no frills, exactly what we want.

RamuelLJackson
I'll take Carson's consistent high level of competence over Grant's erratic cycle of brilliance-adequacy-incompetence. At least until we find the Next Mart Poom ™
Millenniumram
Carson is 100% the better goalkeeper than grant, so much more commanding and assured. We got a top quality goalkeeper last season for next to nothing, I dread to think how much it would cost us to get a Carson now
Kernow
I'd say Grant is more agile and more capable of "wonder saves." For example, the touch onto the bar from Ulloa in the play-offs in 2014 probably would have gone in with Carson in goal. However Carson is much more reliable all round. He wouldn't have punched the ball into the net against Wolves or threw the ball in the goal against Portsmouth. As a whole I think he's much better than Grant.
