Which I think is a better way to go about it. He's 24 and been wanting to get into the PL for the last few years. If he'd been out in the press and this and that it'd probably have soured things.

Martin has played more premier league games than Hendrick ? and neither have played at a world cup finals. Also going by your logic of thoughts Ryan Giggs wasnt as good as Hendrick as he never played at major international tournament.

We don't get to hear about all transfer activity at DCFC, but I suspect there wasn't a lot of interest from other clubs in  Butterfield, Ince & Johnson.

Players have to want to leave, mate. Jeff did. Since January. The mighty Burnley and Hull made bids. Lots of interest eh? 

 

As I say, good luck to him. But I prefer our current options in midfield.
