No new signings will we be able to compete?

I definitely feel as though we are still comfortably a top six Championship side and possibly with Pearson's track record, he may be able to get that little bit extra out of this group of players and we could find ourselves in the top 2 and there to stay.

Having Will Hughes fit and raring to go will feel like a new signing and given more of a chance under a new manager with new ideas, who knows what Weimann, Bent, Blackman and Camara will bring to the table?

For me, I am not sold on the idea of spending tens of millions on players who are proven Championship quality players and nothing more. We have tried it and the end result was painful. At this point, it doesn't seem worthwhile to continue down that route.

I'd much prefer us to sign someone unknown, someone exciting, someone who could take the whole division by surprise.

Another Idiakez, that's all I'm hoping for. Is that too much to ask for? Probably.
