Bridgford Ram
Do scoreboards at Football Grounds all stop at 90 minutes (rather than count the added time as well)?

Smyth_18
I'm more concerned when it stops at Derby 0. In all seriousness i thought this too at the QPR game.
Day
Because it's entertaining to hear the fans that can't count whistling for time 30 seconds into 4 minutes added on
CornwallRam
It's and FA/FL regulation to prevent the referee getting too much stick if he plays more than the 'minimum' overtime. It's also intended to stop pitch invasions, which could happen as soon as the clock hits the allotted time. Clubs have to stick to it.
Boycie
Same reason they show replays of goals and chances, but not penalty appeals.
MuespachRam
It is because a game of football only ever lasts 90 minutes, no game actually lasts 94/6/2/8 etc minutes they ALL should last 90 minutes...the referees stop watch should say 90:00 at the end of the game, that's why he stops it...! Scoreboard - One of the philosophical sides of football. The end is inevitable but when does it come?
