I had the pleasure of meeting Hadlee on his last tour in 1990, by happenstance  I was in the DCCC car park when their tour but pulled up and took the opportunity to grab a few handshakes as they alighted , Richard was last off the bus .

Haddin has been dropped for the Third Test, he may have played his last Test in Cardiff. 

Rogers is fit to play. Looks like it'll be an unchanged Australian side. 

Not confirmed the team until tomorrow but Nevill retain his place.

 No helmets in them days and batting gloves not so good either  

John Snow was a ferocious bowler   

 

When I made my village cricket debut nearly 50 years ago, a local old boy came up to me after the game (I had just taken 4-8) and said "You remind me of John Snow".

I said "Was that my pace?"

He said "No, you have a fat arse".
