Pearl Ram
QPR after James Perch, two bids rejected. There's an uninspiring signing for you, if it happens of course.Just seen on SkySports News Burnley have agreed a fee for him. Whether he'd prefer the bright lights of Shepherds Bush to Burnley remains to be seen.
Kernow
Just seen that Rudy Austin (former Leeds player) was going to sign a three-year deal at Sheff Wed but can't get a work permit and is now being deported. Apparently rules have changed and in order for a non-EU footballer to get a permit, he must play for a side in the world's top 50.

Bris Vegas
Actually scrap that, the MIrror have performed a U-turn and now they're saying he's off to Fulham for the original 4 million. Bizarre turn of events.
Kernow
I wonder if we'd have paid £4mil for him had we not got Shackell. Anyone know what the amount we were supposed to have had rejected for him?
Butros
@reveldevil regarding the now closed Bakary Sako thread. WBA do have a deal in principle in place with Sako. It would seem however he is not their first choice and WBA will only activate the deal if they cannot get their top targets. Obviously they also run the risk of Sako taking a deal elsewhere in the meantime.

Srg
West Brom chucking insane money about for duff players. £8m for Chester and £5m for Marshall is ridiculous.
Butros
Marshall linked with Liverpool last summer and Everton in January so must be doing something right.Up to £8m for Chester, if WBA end up paying the full amount means he has most likely been a success and therefore possibly worth it. Srg
Never seen Marshall as anything more than a decent keeper, certainly not better than what WBA have. Chester is certainly a victim of the English tax.
