Clough wants a pacey forward = Dickov:eek: He is having a joke surely! The funds available to him must have influenced this decision, I am aghast that a professional football club have taken an interest in this once half decent pest of a forward. His abilities in his prime were a fair turn of pace, and a desire to chase every ball and harry every defender. Time has not deminished his desire, however the pace left him years ago, We did not want to sign him 2 seasons ago, he was a Mandaric signing, and YES on a wedge here at Leicester at least £10k p/w. Dickov now spends the few minutes he gets on the pitch trying to be an aggressive little man, however he lasts about 60 seconds before he realises his time is up and that he is not up to it anymore and decides to compete by committing blatent fouls on opposition defenders. If DCFC are paying a good 50% of his wage until January (hopefully beyond) then this is one of the best deals we have done in recent history. I have not heard or seen 1 comment from a fellow Leicester fan who is not utterly delighted about this deal. He comes to you with a terrible scoring record & no match fitness. The songs we sing about him are not one beffiting a hero of the stands. He can't be any worse for you than he has been for us 2nd time around.
