RamNut
The punishment was ludicrous. How can it be judged to be worth a deficit of three goals? Celtic should agree to play again.
Day
Celtic should ignore the letter and rematch, if Warsaw want to appeal let them go to UEFA.
uttoxram75
I agree. Whether the punishment is right or wrong is nothing to do with Celtic. Its Uefa's decision. Celtic can't do anything other than follow Uefa's instructions. Legia should direct their arguments at Uefa not Celtic.
StaffsRam
Have to agree, Legia should be taking this up with UEFA rather than Celtic. Very unfair on Celtic IMO who will now be painted as unsporting if they refuse the plea, which surely they will do. UEFA should just come out now and say 'no chance' to effectively take the decision and the blame, away from Celtic.
Karl Jackson
They'll be back out of it soon as Shame the way Scottish football has crashed in the last 2 - 3 decades though is'nt it. Recently read Denis Law's auto-biography and from some of the scores from the 60's and early 70's in the internationals they had some good results against England. Recently read Denis Law's auto-biography and from some of the scores from the 60's and early 70's in the internationals they had some good results against England. Good point about Scottish football. Games between England - Scotland were usually competitive with the top English teams having good scottish players while Celtic and Rangers could keep some of their best players as well. In the 60's, 70's and 80's, off the top of my head, players like Archie Gemmill, Bruce Rioch, Kenny Dalglish, Denis Law, Dave Mackay, Graeme Souness, half of the 1967 Celtic side, and many others would have been pushing for a place in the England team if they'd been born on the right side of Hadrian's wall. Scottish goalies were usually crap though.....
CumbrianRam
Still remember the 1999 play-offs when they outplayed us, Keegan really was a disaster, so lucky to qualify that year.
