Bennett could make the step up but I think he needs maybe one more season to refine himself, but we certainly have a very talented striker on our hands, his just very raw currently. We essentially need a better version of Sammon. For me, our back up striker should have the following attributes: Experienced at Championship level or of a similar league standard if from abroad. Solid goal scoring record- I'm not talking another 20 per season scorer, because I'm not sure a player that scored 20 goals last season would be prepared to sit on the bench. But still a player with a consistent record. A player that is prepared to accept that he is essentially back up to our main striker Relatively good value for money (Under Juke's price) considering we are only buying a squad/bench player.
