SuperSheep
How do you reckon his season will turn out this year? Influence on the first team Or Another season on loan?(probably to clough)
Cam the Ram
If we sign a winger I reckon he'll barely get a game and probably be loaned out, if we don't he could get some decent game time
Hector Riva
His best position isn't on the wing though, he is a pacey through the middle striker similar to Daniel Sturridge I reckon.
skippy1996
I think it depends if we buy a striker or loan another striker. Plus selling Sammon will increase his chances of playing time
Uptherams
He is still just a kid. He will have chances but if he wants game time he has to make a step up now and not gradually over the next 2-3 years. There is no rush. People should not write him off.

Jenkinson
I do not think he is ready yet. Could be usefull as an impact player. Loan would be a better deal for him though. The only his start was v Watford and he spent that game in the pocket of some big algerian lad. On the other side he totally destroyed amateur(ish) left back from Chelsea. Stuniverse
How do you reckon his season will turn out this year? Influence on the first team Or Another season on loan?(probably to clough) When Bennett went on loan to Chesterfield, McClaren went on record as saying he wanted to give Bennett more playing time next season. Lord_Ram
I think if he wasn't 2 years behind Hughes, he'd be at a similiar level, he's probably at the same level will was at 17, it's just it was a lot easier and not so crucial to have top quality players in the first team, at the very least he'd be a great impact player and is rather see him warm the bench than Sammon atm

uttoxram75
Love to see him have a run in the team this coming season - like Jeff and Will did, not just a game or two but give him say 10 starts to see what he can do. Going out on loan is ok but to get a load of games under your belt, gaining real experience with your team mates, is invaluable. Hendrick and Hughes are the benchmark for how to blood youngsters into the team. Both were given extended runs rather than having to impress in brief substitution appearances. Lord_Ram
i dont mind if he goes on loan, so much as he plays first team football but doesnt enjoy it there, and doesnt sign a new contract to be able to go out under duress...
