I can recall it like it was yesterday....almost.

I remember getting home and mum saying to me that she had seen it on the tv and there had been "loads of hooligans on the pitch"

I told her I was nowhere near the pitch, covering up the grass stains on my knees where I had been skidding on the centre spot...!

I was no more than 5 yards from the lad who made the "tackle", i can clearly remember looking down the line and seeing his leg come out of the crowd... :D  happy days.

Just watched it. Memories. Sadly I was with my dad in the Normanton Stand that day, so had to watch the rest of you on the touchline from afar. Great tackle whichever one of you that was. :D

Amazing how the game's changed. A karate kick on Paul Hooks in full view of the referee who just gives the Fulham lad (Hopkins) a bit of a talking to!

Disappointed it was some weird London presentation and not Star Soccer.

Not a bad team considering we would have been down long before without the miraculous recovery in Taylor's first half season. An aging Gemmill and that git Kenny Burns. Oh Bobby Bobby, Bobby Bobby Bobby Bobby Davison up front with Kevin Wilson. I was probably on my own, but I always rated Emson too.

Ta for the heads up.
