A FORMER member of staff at Burton Albion who claims she was victimised by bosses because she was a 'distraction to players' told a tribunal "I can't help it if young guys find me attractive." Kerry Miller, who lives in Marchington, said club chairman Ben Robinson had treated her 'like an idiot' when he criticised her for her 'flirtatious' behaviour towards players. The 46-year-old claims she was pulled up in front of colleagues on several occasions for things which she did not class as misdemeanours. She has accused the club of sexual discrimination, harassment and constructive dismissal - claims which are being contested during a five day employment tribunal in Leicester. The panel of two men and a woman heard that Ms Miller would go into the players changing rooms unannounced and let her personal relationships with members of the team result in issues at work. She is also alleged to have taken in on herself to serve food to the players despite the fact it was not part of her role. Brewers bosses claim she was spoken to about her behaviour but defied their directions. She denies these claims though admits she had personal relationships with some of the players. Asked by Sarah George, counsel for Burton Albion, whether she thought it was reasonable to believe her actions caused distraction, she said: "I can't help it if you have got these young guys who find me attractive. “When I was asked not to go into the changing rooms, I never did it again. “When I was asked not to serve food, I never did it again. “Whenever I was asked not to do something, I didn’t do it, but I was never told I could not do it in the first place.” The case continues.
