Cos it's awesome. You'd love a kit so classy. With the stars n all that..

Are those stars officially sanctioned? Why don't Liverpool have however many stars?

In fact, we should do a count of how many teams feel the need to put stars on their shirts to remind people they were good once.

We could start putting random stars on our shirt too. We could have a star for every time we've won the English league. Or how about a new one every time we beat forest 5-0?

Of course they are not officially sanctioned. I think it all started with Juventus (spit) - and it related to a domestic win - well, it represented their tenth Serie A title, and they adopted their star in 1958. German clubs display Bundesliga stars for a similar reason - and now they do it in Turkey.

After Brazil won their third World Cup in 1970, they incorporated 3 stars into their badge. Uruguay, not to be outdone, decided to display FOUR on their's, adding their Olympic titles of 1924 and 1928 (they preceded the first ever World Cup).

So there you have it - the whole idea is a rather pathetic and childish exercise in one-upmanship.

Just like Dawny.  :p

Those stars don't count for ****, your 'history' only goes back to 1984, and by your current antics HMRC might reset it again.

You lot love living in the past, but hey that's a gump for you

It's Russell, combines with Hughes, now into the feet of Martin, great ball through into Ross McCormack!!

McCormack, still McCormack!!

And it's 3-0 Derby. Forest look well beaten here. It's been a nightmare opening 10 minutes for the European Cup champions of 76. 77? 78? 79?

79?

Kenny? Kenny was it 79?

Fooks sake Kenny, was it 79? Put the hotdog down. Was it 79? It was? Thank you. Not too much to ask was it? tit

I know

Fuking drone.

Talks about banter lol he hasn't got a bantering bone in his body. His pure hatred for forest shines brightly tho

Hate, won't waste that much emotion on you.  You lot are just boring, however your club is a first rate circus and provides more laughs than a comedy club and you lot defend it by citing the past because that is all you have, and even that counts for SFA.

Least your new striker passed his eye test, and had 2 days to have a think...or was he waiting for the cheque to clear first?

Your lot talk about our past far far more than we do
