eddie
I've heard it's no where near the 2.5 m that's being quoted I would be amazed if it was anything like that.
Ambitious
I would be amazed if it was anything like that. That's what I was thinking. Regardless of success, no Dutch second division player is worth £2.5m. It's not a good or highly-respected division. I'd think 500k would be more appropriate. Ambitious
In fact, to put into perspective. Only 3 Football League clubs had a lower attendance than Excelsior last season: Morecombe, Dagenham and Accrington Stanley. It's a league with less coverage, less money...etc, etc. I don't think I'd be unfair in saying that it's possibly on a par with the conference. So, to think they would have paid £2.5m for him is just ridiculous. The more I look into it, I think 500k is too much as well. It's a club that is likely to be run on far less than £1million annually. Although that I'm not sure on.

Ambitious
Matty Fryatt has scored 54 Championship goals in 214 Championship appearances. A record of just under 1 in 4. That's pretty good going by their standards. Good signing.

Players usually duck out of signing for a club before they've had their medical, don't they? Not at Forest, it seems.

Has he gone back for an eye test? or is it merely a loan deal? or is he worried that he won't get paid? or is it because Nottingham is full of ****, oh Nottingham is full............
