Bris Vegas
I'm suprised it took them so long... One win in 17? Good god that's awful
McRainy
Financial decision. Mandaric is trying to sell, and didn't want to pay Jones off. That's the only reason he's lasted this long. Only the very real threat of relegation, and the financial losses that would incur, has forced Mandaric's hand. Truly shocking recruitment and tactics from Jones.. should have gone a year ago. Catch 23
To be honest, he's done a mediocre job there at best. Yes, he got Wednesday promoted from League One, but they were third already and merely needed pushing over the finish line (and the situation was helped by their nearest promotion rivals having their top scorer convicted of rape and sent to prison). They been in the bottom six of the Championship more or less consistently since then and haven't looked like going anywhere, and one win in 17 is pathetic. sage
He wasn't just sacked by Wednesday, he was sacked by Sunday. His chairman doesn't hang about.
Mostyn6
Stuart Pearce one of the favourites to take over. Personally, he should hold fire, I reckon the Forest job could be up for grabs soon. I can see Whelan trying to get Billy to Wigan...
