David
Would I say I'm looking to do some DIY, whats the best Black & Decker to use ladies? Women buy the irons so I'm looking for female advice, no need to make it all sexist
Ram@Lincoln
Just asked the missus and she says go to Argos, don't buy the two cheap one as they're crap but buy the one at a tenner. We have that one apparently, never used/touched it myself so can't give a mans review on it.

ladyram
Ours is a Breville Power Steam 2400w. It has 35g constant steam, 95g steam shot, is anti-drip, anti-scale, is self cleaning and has vertical steam. Dont buy one, it's crap. And cos we live in a hard water area, we even bought a water filter, otherwise it's ruined within a couple of months with limescale. Buying a new one when I get round to it...too busy cooking and cleaning at the min ya see ;-)

Mostyn6
go to Asda, if they have 3, buy the middle priced one.
Boycie
All I know is that the missus loads water I'm the base station of ours and not in the actual iron hand held bit.

Had one of them too, you have to actually hold it upside down to fill? No better than the Breville one tbh.

Phoenix
Assuming you're getting a steam iron, I'd say (from hearsay of course) get one that allegedly self-descales. We just happen to have a dehumidifier, and therefore access to soft water. Otherwise the steam outlets clog up quite quickly.
