The stubbor (as opposed to the stubbee, i.e. my toe) was a crate of conditioned beer which just happened to be next to my computer desk / workstation for safe keeping. I suspect that I shall have to remove one or two problem bottles in order to determine whether said conditioning is now complete. That'll probably do it.
