From a generation where they were so good at what they did, they could ALL hold their own in Hollywood or Theatre. For the younger amongst you, I'm talking about Griff Rhys-Jones (went on to do serious documentaries), Stephen Fry (legend in my eyes), Hugh Laurie (ripping **** up as House), Robbie Coltrane and others I cannot quite think of, even Miranda Richardson is quality.
