Derby County look at Toffees striker

10:00 AM 24 January, 2013

Derby County are lining up a loan move for Magaye Gueye.

The Rams are keen to sign a new striker during the January transfer window, as they look to make a push for a playoff spot in the Championship.

Nigel Clough laughed off suggestions he was set to move for Nottingham Forest’s Dexter Blackstock at the weekend, but he hopes to bring in a new face in the coming days.

It is believed the Pride Park club have set their sights on a loan deal for Gueye, who has struggled to make an impact since joining Everton in 2010.

The 22-year-old has made just two substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, and David Moyes would be willing to let him leave for regular first team action.

Looked alright when i have seen him play for Everton but thats only through Match of the Day snippets.

Scored 9 goals in 30 games in the french second league.

This is his third year at Everton.

Not too sure to be honest.

1 in 3 isn't too bad for an 18/19 year old...

Also wikipedia says he's a winger... anyone know any better?

Never even heard of that site who said we want him, is it even reliable?

Had a look around the website. I wouldnt say its BBC full proof but its certainly not football-rumours.co.uk. standard.

They try to use actual quotes where possible.

Has a nice rumour rating things where you can set the transfer speculation to Rumours/Possible/Done Deal

Of course this has the rating rumours.
