Pride Park the rugby ground?

Just imagining Derby fans at a Rugby match. There'd still be universal groans every time the ball is passed backwards.

I'm not sure about this. I'd find it pretty hard to take if another sport came to our home and made a better atmosphere.

And what about when it's kicked into touch? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Oh dear, there'll be boo's all round 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I was just thinking about this and thought I would like that, but then I remembered the beer at PP is like p!$$

Absolutely, it is awful. Heineken is bad enough in a pub but what Derby do with it God only knows. Says it all when I have to drink Bovril.

The seats would have to be stress tested by a team of engineers before allowing the huge arses of the average middle aged, middle class rugby fan to sit on them.

Oafs, the lot of 'em.

Are you applying? Maybe Boycie could as well? I would but I'm not middle aged yet 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

football is a gentlemans game played by thugs and rugby is a thugs game played by fat posh people who have so little skill they can only play rugby and are such gentleman that they sometimes insert their finger into an opponents eye socket.

Atmosphere at Rugby games is far better than atmosphere at Pride Park

Beer in your seats probably helps

Saturday was my first trip to pride park for a while and i was thinking when can fans start drinking in grounds again. im sure everyone staying under the stands before kick off doesn't help build an atmosphere.

I assume the rationale is people wont get as drunk by not been able to drink at matches but surely anyone who wants to get lashed will just drink more before the game and at half time.

just seems daft that u have to pay 20 odd quid for a ticket and 3 quid for a pint then have to drink it down quickly cos u can't drink inside the ground.

Surely any fan likely to cause trouble after drinking is gonna drink anyway so the people get penalised are those who wanna have 2-3 pints throughout the game.

According to F****t fans we see rugby all the time so why not? Maybe Bryson and Hughes could sneak into team as a props.

Hughes, a prop? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> He'd get flattened, poor love. Ya cruel man Dimmu 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Wardy down the wing wouldn't be a bad move 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I'm up for this as long as England play a game here or New Zealand the stadiums allready set up for it with the new tv so this should be good 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Can't wait !
