One photo in particular reminds me of when I was about 12, and watching a lot of people I knew go off and strike, not really understanding it but kind of knowing something was wrong.

This picture was took at Orgreave and the woman in it is called Leslie. Luckily for her, she got pulled back from behind as she was trying to help a miner who'd been hurt, so the baton didn't do as much damage as it could have.

I remember my dad looking at it in the paper with a bit of a hopeless look on his face. It's funny isn't it? That certain images stay in your memory?
