davenportram
Just thought id pop this in here for any reamsplayer subscribers having problems. The club have issud the following instructions http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/rams-player-access-guide-368062.aspx Important message for Rams Player subscribers. Derby County is aware that a small amount of inconvenience has been experienced with accessing Rams Player this season on matchdays – but hard work has been taking place behind the scenes to ensure that isn’t the case anymore. For the 2012-13 season, live match commentary should now automatically play when accessing the live match section. If you’ve had problems accessing the commentary service then please follow the below steps to rule out any incompatibility issues. STEP 1: CLEAR YOUR CACHE It is important that we rule out any issues with your existing web browser and the CLUB Player cookies that are stored on it. Please choose your browser from the below list and follow the instructions to clear your cache. Internet Explorer 8/9: 1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools. If you don't see the menu, press Alt on your keyboard to show menus. 2. Select Delete Browsing History. 3. Select the checkbox next to "Temporary Internet Files." 4. Click Delete. 5. It can take several minutes for the cache history to be deleted. Once the files have been deleted, click Okay. Google Chrome: 1. Click the spanner icon on the browser toolbar. 2. Select Tools. 3. Select Clear Browsing Data. 4. In the dialogue that appears, select the ‘Empty Cache’ box. 5. Click Clear browsing data. Firefox: 1. In Firefox, click the Tools menu. 2. Select Clear Recent History. 3. Under "Time Range to Clear," select Everything. 4. Select the "Details" checkbox. 5. Select the "Cache" checkbox. 6. Click Clear Now. Opera: 1. In Opera, click the Tools menu. 2. Click Preferences. 3. Select the Advanced tab. 4. Click History. 5. In the "Disk Cache" section, click Empty Now. 6. Click OK to close the Preferences window. The above should clear any corruption and allow your computer to download new cookies from the Rams Player site. Please close your web browser, re-open the website and log in to Rams Player. STEP 2: UPDATE YOUR WEB BROWSER If clearing your cache hasn’t worked then you may need to install a newer version of your browser. Rams Player works best when you access it on the below: [url=http://www.google.com/chrome/index.html?hl=en-GB&brand=CHMA&utm_campaign=en_gb&utm_source=en_gb-ha-emea-uk-bk&utm_medium=ha]Google Chrome [url=http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/]Firefox [url=http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx]Internet Explorer 8 [url=http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/internet-explorer/products/ie/home]Internet Explorer 9 [url=http://www.opera.com/download/]Opera [url=http://www.apple.com/safari/download/]Safari If you are still unable to access the service then please contact customer services at customerservices@performgroup.com. Daaave
Try just going straight to the ramsplayer site: http://www.player.dcfc.co.uk/live-matches Worked for me and another on the matchday chat thread. Main website seems highly temperamental
Anag Ram
Rams Player hasn't worked for me all year. I have followed all the tips on cookies etc and the latest is that I should change my default browser. Well sorry, I'd rather not. I won't be continuing my subscription. derbydan
Yeah the site was cr4p last night missed the first 10 minutes, ended up logging in through blackpools website instead & then changing it to the derby commentary
StockholmRam
Thanks for your help last night Daaave..I was at a loss. Im not a particularly computer literate fella. Sort of bumble my way around it type so your help was much appreciated. I could not get onto DCFC official site at all last night. Even when I managed to get onto RamsPlayer by Daaaves link it still was stop-start for the remainder of the game that I listened too. Is it rubbish because its so cheap do you think? If so I dont mind paying a little bit more to get to listen to the whole commentary without having to press refresh every 5 mins.
Butthead
It always works on the opposition's web site and their radio commentary link, just not DCFC's for some reason. Have they sorted out the delay between the site and Radio Derby? that's just ridiculous too. I only subscribe for the commentary as not in the radio derby area, so rather than pay more for a service that works I'd rather they just lose the rest of it like the videos
alexxxxx
The problem is on dcfc's end as its always cutting out. Looking forward to the full 90 of the charlton game tho

Butthead
It's got even longer this season though, and that does'nt explain why the delay is less when you click on the opposition's commentary. Give it a try, their's works perfectly but the derby commentary has a longer delay and cuts out all the time.
StockholmRam
There's always a delay on Internet broadcasts of radio - even happens when listening on the RD website (for FA cup games and normal programming) Its not just a delay Im getting on RamsPlayer though Dav. Its a complete cut out of commentary and its happening regularly ( maybe ten times per match) so that I have to keep clicking on refresh.
