ladyram
I reckon Sir Chris Hoy, for the simple reasons he's 1. An 11 time World Champion (it might have been 13 if it wasn't for a hip injury) 2. He's been Olympic Champion 6 times, winning 3 at one Olympics Although, his 7th medal ( a silver) puts him on level par with Wiggins, who both overtake SSR, which in itself is brilliant. Ooooooh, decisions, decisions..... needles
I reckon Nicola Adams should win it if personality is indeed the key rather than how much the media wet themselves about a candidate. She has awesome determination, passion for her sport, and a completely positive outlook. She had a massive grin plastered on for the whole Olympics. Inspirational. And you wouldn't want to spill her pint.

They could all easily have won in a normal year. He is training to be fair.
