gcdcfc28
CHECK YOUR FACTS!!!! Maguire cost.....oh wait....sorry you was being sarcastic wasn't you? also Kuku the cat? Yeah the Brazilian wonder-kid we signed for the developmental squad. No wait, that was Oscar signing for Chelski. We don't look any further than Bognor 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Pulpman
So why gives the likes of Savage and Miles Addison contract extensions? I can't understand it at all. If the wage bill is that tight and we have to balance the books; why did Clough decide on giving a 34 year old Robbie Savage another year - on 15,000 a week? That is close to 800,000 we spent on Savage in that single year, which could or rather should have been spent elsewhere. Savage had 1 year on a £25k contract left, he halved it ( with a little bit extra) and spread his wage over 2 years. This was done for the good of the club finances at the time. Savage said this in an interview with Gibbo on the radio. He was good value for those 2 yrs.

Hucknall Ram
My nieces husband is a season ticket holder at Ilkeston , now and the old team, he told me at the time we paid them 50k, and I believe him. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> the dreaded "undisclosed fee" http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11747/6964869/ Pringle, signed by Derby from Ilkeston for an undisclosed fee in June 2009, spent the last two months on loan at Torquay. gcdcfc28
With those wages we could have got someone better than Savage though mate, honestly a 35 year old? We could have signed the bloke from Alfreton, (Josh Law I think his name is), Clough knows the area well...and the league.
Duracell
Yeah the Brazilian wonder-kid we signed for the developmental squad. No wait, that was Oscar signing for Chelski. We don't look any further than Bognor 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Oscar was brilliant scouting from Chelsea. He scored a hat-trick in a U20 World Cup final, has been capped for the Brazillian senior side, and has stood out as Internacional's best player, absolute steal for £25m and its a shame we missed out. I jest, but I could swear that there is this warped thinking that we'd rather have foreign wonderkids in our Academy than local ones. We could spend millions scouting the globe and not get players as good as Bennett and Hughes, who we found on our doorstep.

Hucknall Ram
I think this has gone off track now, So in conclusion "Pressure is on Clough to deliver. Starting today." He did deliver yesterday. Many of us are still willing to give Clough time, Smiffy and gcdcfc28 think it's time for change, that their opinion and we have to respect that.
