  1. Might just be winding you up, I’d take it with a pinch of salt.
  2. That’s why I always check Derby County The complete Record, I don’t trust my memory anymore 😂 According to the bible he only played in division two and didn’t play against Liverpool. The article states it was against Leicester.
  3. Goalkeepers Roger Jones 1980/81 and Steve Cherry 1982/83 won the PotY either side of Steve Buckley 1981/82. Although Banovic was signed in 1980 he didn’t play his first game until December 30 1981. His only games against Leicester were, February 6th 1982 a 2-1 defeat and October 23rd 1982 a 0-4 defeat and his last game. He left in 1984.
  4. That’s exactly how I remember it, I’ve been wrong before though.😂
  5. The away attendance was 3,857. We had an initial allocation of 3,012 and then a further 1,000 on December 11th.
  6. Matlock sold out. Last 50 tickets are being held back and will go on sale at their club shop at 9.30 in the morning.
  7. I thought it was under wee billy, but only from memory which may be totally wrong. Seem to remember we were one of the last to change from Wednesday to Tuesday on a regular basis.
  8. Over 2,000 tickets sold for Matlock now, heading for a sellout.
  9. Last year was a 2,300 sellout.
  10. It’s OK for reference regarding location of grounds etc but some things are just years out of date, like the information regarding away fans at Cambridge. Hopefully the championship will be a bit more relevant. That’s why when I gave the list of capacities at championship grounds I used what Leeds were given last season which didn’t always tally with what was on the FGG site. Like I said it’s ok for reference just don’t take it as gospel.
  11. Quite a few IHG hotels on there, Holiday inn, Crowne Plaza etc, I am a IHG diamond member and use them quite a lot. I checked a few of the prices some were dearer some were cheaper, the thing is if you sign up to be a member, which is easy to do and then find the same room offered cheaper they will match the price and give you 4x the points you earn.
  12. Matlock ticket sorted straight straight to my phone, no drama.🙂
  13. Paul Warne will be the next England manager
  14. Reminded me from years ago when a guy would walk round the pub selling seafood snacks. While we were watching the England game he was standing in front of the television and someone shouted, get out of the way you shellfish b*****d.
  15. Nearly right, according to the email from the club at the end of the season it said I have been part of 18 sellouts. So I checked the ticket site, the only other one that didn’t sellout completely was Peterborough but it must have been close. The Bolton allocation was over 5,000, Wigan they said we had sold around 4,000, the allocation was 4,012. Reading was an evening match and the first one after their fans got the previous one abandoned.
  16. Just reread the article, apparently Fleetwood and Cheltenham were relegated to the National league as well. 😳
  17. Not sure what your point is. The article combines comments from the end of the season regarding league positions with statistics from December regarding attendances. The article states that our highest away following was 3,896, our allocation for Barnsley was 5,017 which we sold out.
  18. This is an article in a Peterborough newspaper quoting the Football Ground Guide that took statistics from the 72 on twitter from December 28th after 11 games. Talk about lazy journalism, we took over 5,000 to Barnsley in February 🙄
  19. If people are just moving then their old seats would be available. I did forget to mention though that a large block of around 200 have been sold/ reserved/ held back in the North stand upper block A, probably taken up by sponsors. The number of seats available now which will become the seats available for match day tickets is already less than at the start of last season.
  20. Over one thousand sold since the start of phase two, now 5,733 available.
  21. There was less away fans in the second league one season so the amount of home fans actually increased a lot more than the 19 per match showed. There will be a large increase in the amount of away fans this season so with the amount of season tickets sold attendances should be up this season despite one or two on here saying there could be a massive drop if we kept the manager.
