I agree with that to some extent. It’s just a pity we didn’t achieve promotion as a result of his departure.

McLaren and Clough won the same amount of promotions too😎. I’d a lot of time for both but in terms of success, we didn’t achieve anything by sacking Clough. Just better to watch at times under SM but as you say, Clough’s teams had their moments too. And as for Rush, well…..why did we bother with him?

Not a chance unfortunately. Too many are in entrenched positions. They’ll be sharpening their knives whatever happens.

That’s the main point. Who is this mythical manager who will solve all ills? If he’s so good, why would he join us? Presumably, he’s in League 1 or 2 or is a present Championship manager who wants to stake his reputation on coming here and building a team? Or is it a manager currently working on Europe? Or….don’t these people know and just want to see the back of PW at any price and with any outcome? I can’t think who would want that though. 😎

I came down for one of my rare 400 mile return trips. Nerve wracking, Bolton are a good team but we defended brilliantly. I’ve been watching the Rams for 60 years. What a great result even if it was tough going. So every Rams fan would love it….? Not the bloke in front of me who “can’t wait to get Warne out of the Club”. I suspect he was disappointed that we won as it didn’t suit his agenda. I have a word that describes him and others like him. I’ll leave it to you all to decide what it is😄 Well done to all players and management for finding a way to continue to pick up points and keeping us in the mix👏

What I like about him is the fact that he gives everything and scores goals. i don’t expect anything more than that from a centre forward in Division 1.

Good idea. And an hour before the game kicks off. By the time I’ve read all the gloom about the wrong team having been picked, I presume it’s just a matter of time before we lose the game. Strangely, it hasn’t been turning out that way for some reason😎
