People who video important events on their mobile rather than actually experiencing them.
The Leicester City parade thing was on the TV's at the gym last night & I found myself getting irritated by the number of players walking around the stage filming it and then standing there tapping away on the phones, presumably updating Twitter or whatever. I'm sure the same would have happened regardless of which club it was & it happens everywhere now.
Just put the phone down!. It's on TV. Thousands of fans have come to see you and you're typing on your phone. Stupid.
It was the same with the athletes at the Olympics opening ceremony. This is maybe the biggest thing they are ever going to do and highlight of their career and instead of taking in the moment, they're experiencing it through their cameras.

Agreed, and as I know froggg likes his history, the flags are made in an old mill in Saddleworth where they used to make the fabric for the wings of the Hurricane fighter.

Oh and if anyone wants a quality flag that will last, Barmy Flags. I know Charlie and he's brill, good team working in an old mill near Oldham that was once used to make the canvas for the Hurricanes in WW2. 

Got mine ready for France next year, 10x5 so a bit too big for PP especially where I sit. 
Got a little cheapo St. Georges DCFC  one that came free with a shirt a few seasons ago. Does the job out my window in SE London, low enough to see it from the main road, high enough away from jealous hands...

Well, today I decided to put my CAD skills to the test. By far the most complex thing I've ever done on a CAD system before. 
I'm not massively happy about it, but thought some of you guys might like to see my first attempt. Any criticism would be appreciated. Not finished obviously but you can tell what it will look like in the end.
As you can see it is Hublot/AP inspired with the face inspiration coming from a picture of a Boeing 747 fan that I have.

This neat little two seater looks tailor made for the entrance porch to this ground floor bedsit........alfresco living in sunny Utch!

This was me on top of the Empire State Building in May this year, two seconds later I was pounced on and wrestled to the ground and disarmed of my "unauthorised banner" the NYPD undercover officers thought I was mounting a religious protest ! What made it worse was when they said they had never heard of Derby County !!

We should have a summer of Rams flags.
Take your flags out and about with you and post up your pics on here. I want to see DCFC flags wherever you go for a day out, whether its Thorpe Cloud, Alton Towers, Gullivers Kingdom or Morrisons.
I'll try and get one at Utch races soon. I'm tempted to do a sneaky one outside the Britannia Stadium as well!

​Haha, missed this post Boycie.....yep, the land used to have a rail line running through it, the old line is a nice walk so the council "themed" the gates that keep the motorbikes lads out.
The old line ran from Uttoxeter, the next stop was the JCB World Headquarters factory at Rocester, followed by Denstone (near the College), then a couple of hundred yards from Alton Towers and on to Oakamoor through to Macclesfield i believe.
Good job they closed it down, they'd be no call for it now!
