  1. I made the point about ingrained malcontents But you go off with your straw man argument.
  2. Read the Warne out threads. There's plenty of choices on there.
  3. U.S. Attorney Leigha Simonton added: “This defendant flaunted his apparent wealth while allegedly diverting millions from company coffers into his private bank account. Slync investors and employees are understandably outraged, and we sympathize. We look forward to holding Mr. Kirchner accountable in federal court.”
  4. That's the issue though isn't it. I genuinely believe there would be fans whom would find something to moan at this scenario. Which is the current problem in a nutshell. Not Warne.
  5. I genuinely think Warne is the focal point of the angst of a number of supporters who still have not come to terms with the fact we have been a League 1 club for 2 consecutive seasons and find it hard to accept this. Our league attendances only reinforce this frustration that we are too good for this League - it's like a certain section of fans are still in denial and vent their spleen at Warne for our current ongoing league position as they can't blame or have got tired of blaming Mel Morris so move onto the next scapegoat. I wonder what other fans think of us if they came on this forum and saw some of the post match comments given we could have gone top with the right result last night, it's truly bizarre.
  6. We're bordering on semantics or weasel words now. I remember Warne quite clearly saying that he had a budget to juggle and he had to decide whether to use it on on a transfer fee or instead use it across a number of players all on loans or frees. Not that I'm blaming Warne the message given out was deliberately ambiguous.
  7. It's coming up with some Byzantine plan to effectively spend 300k on a player regardless of how the outlay is made. Same result loan fee or permanent transfer. 300k. It also irks me slightly that the talk in the summer was that we had a pot of money for transfers but this pot is none existent as it has a dependency on players being sold.
  8. Pleased that we've signed the lad but the structure of the deal leaves more questions than answers about our finances yet again....
  9. Dread what the reaction would have been on here if we'd lost yesterday's game....
  10. It's interesting how over the course of the season the moaning has evolved from not being in the playoffs to not being in the Top 2. Shows that someone somewhere is doing something right.
  11. You wonder if he would still have been sacked for calling the players out in public if he'd obtained 6 wins from his matches in charge rather than 3 draws and 3 defeats
  12. Birmingham councli were aware of this potential huge liability ten years ago when it all surfaced and made no provision in their accounts on a year by year basis since then in case they would have to pay out. It's caught up with them now, I assume they were hoping that they would win the case but sadly we're either misinformed or just deluded.
  13. In Birminghams case it's possible after they had to shell out over a billion pounds to female council workers whom historically were unfairly underpaid relative to their male counterparts. As Birmingham council made no provision for this huge compensation claim which ultimately was their own fault then this effectively left them borassic.
  14. Did they tell you that there won't be any seats on either of the two carriages
  15. From the BBC Sports website about Reading:- One MP, Damian Green, is a Reading fan and was at Saturday's game against Port Vale which was abandoned after fans invaded the pitch to protest against owner Dai Yongge. "The word on the street is that he now doesn't want to sell and is just asset stripping and is doing it quite visibly with players," Green said. "He is willing to sell any player of any value for what little he can get and wants to be left with the training ground as a piece of property having folded the club. Surely there's some half decent players still left at Reading we can get for a nominal fee?
  16. The reality of the situation was I had to skim read back 2 pages to find anything remotely positive about the result tonight. Am sure Warne is well aware of our deficiencies and this isn't recent news for him, that's for the training ground or transfer market. Why not just enjoy the result and the fact that we're effectively joint second tonight. Each to their own I guess
  17. Where did I say it's not fair to post constructive criticism
  18. Just hopped on here and would have been mistaken for thinking we lost the game tonight looking over some of the comments....
  19. Make the Reading players practice with the tennis balls for the next month
  20. We should be beating teams like Burton at home. Said with tongue firmly in cheek
  21. I heard they favoured Rimmel or Garnier
  22. It's uncanny that we seem to be in for two players both called Michael Smith.....
