  1. Mike te Wierik? Nearly 4 million quid for Jozwiak? https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/phillip-cocu-resigns-first-job-8900823 Phillip Cocu resigns from first job since leaving Derby Phillip Cocu resigned as Vitesse head coach after the home defeat to SC Heerenveen Former Derby County boss Phillip Cocu has resigned as head coach of Eredivisie side Vitesse. Cocu was appointed by Vitesse little over a year ago, in September 2022, in what was his first job in football since parting company with the Rams in November 2020. The former Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven and Vitesse midfielder guided the team to 10th in the Dutch top flight last season but leaves them bottom of the table this term, having managed only eight points from 12 matches. Cocu took the decision to step down from his post after the 3-1 home defeat to SC Heerenveen on Saturday. The club said in a statement: "The former footballer of the Arnhem team took over in September 2022 from then head coach Thomas Letsch, who left for VfL Bochum. Under the leadership of Cocu, the Arnhem team still achieved an impressive tenth place in the Eredivisie after a very difficult season.
  2. Thanks for the nomination but have got extensive work commitments for the next few months.
  3. Heartening to see that Clattenberg is already paying for his wages at Forest
  4. Have to profess never would have guessed from reading your posts until you confirmed that
  5. 3-0 home win what's not to like about that
  6. You know what pragmatism is the keyword here, the objective is to get out of League 1 and if we achieve that then the means will justify the ends
  7. He upsets a group of forum members on here
  8. Had to do a RoyMac and ignore the majority of your post and focus on one minutiae..... Not sure on the assertion in bold, I certainly didn't expect us to get promoted the first season Warne was in charge so that kind of makes what you've said invalid (depends what your interpretation of "quick" is I guess) Did Clowes also say the same thing?
  9. Depends what you call British I guess. They're owned by an American company.
  10. Flash news update the 3rd division no longer existed 20 years ago.
  11. I agree nobody said that comment on this thread. But hopefully now that's closed that line of complaint down as I think it's a good move for us.
  12. Why did you have to respond to it, another pointless reply.
  13. This did make me laugh when I read it, Chris Wilder was fined today for improper conduct towards the referee and their assistant at a recent game:- As well as criticising Harrington, Wilder also accused one of his assistants of showing a "lack of respect" for eating a sandwich when he went to speak to them after the game. Wonder what kind of sandwich it was for Wilder to take so much offense. Or maybe Wilder was hungry and wanted a bite but the refs assistant told him to do one. If it had been a baguette would it have been a different story.
  14. Another example of how Warne can't attract players to the club
  15. Am sure you meant uninspiring. Or maybe you actually don't find the thought of us getting promoted inspiring.
  16. It may or may not be Warnes fault but that doesn't mean it's nobody's fault. That's that argument put to bed then
  17. Someone pass me the deluxe sized bottle of brain bleach I can't cope any more
  18. It's not just us then they don't get the blatant penalty decisions 😛
  19. Just waiting for the comment that if Port Vale are in for him then he must be crap.
  20. Think the best way to end this debate is to shake hands and both of you agree jono was right with everything he said. Seems fair to me
  21. I guess it's not just us who give away 90 minute goals. Funny that. COYR.
  22. I can sense your frustration now that you've been deprived of the ability to start another Warne Out thread.
