Had to do a RoyMac and ignore the majority of your post and focus on one minutiae..... Not sure on the assertion in bold, I certainly didn't expect us to get promoted the first season Warne was in charge so that kind of makes what you've said invalid (depends what your interpretation of "quick" is I guess) Did Clowes also say the same thing? -
Depends what you call British I guess. They're owned by an American company.

Dwight Gayle - Signed until the end of the season

I agree nobody said that comment on this thread. But hopefully now that's closed that line of complaint down as I think it's a good move for us. -

Why did you have to respond to it, another pointless reply. -
This did make me laugh when I read it, Chris Wilder was fined today for improper conduct towards the referee and their assistant at a recent game:- As well as criticising Harrington, Wilder also accused one of his assistants of showing a "lack of respect" for eating a sandwich when he went to speak to them after the game. Wonder what kind of sandwich it was for Wilder to take so much offense. Or maybe Wilder was hungry and wanted a bite but the refs assistant told him to do one. If it had been a baguette would it have been a different story.

Another example of how Warne can't attract players to the club -
Am sure you meant uninspiring. Or maybe you actually don't find the thought of us getting promoted inspiring.

It may or may not be Warnes fault but that doesn't mean it's nobody's fault. That's that argument put to bed then

Just waiting for the comment that if Port Vale are in for him then he must be crap. -
Think the best way to end this debate is to shake hands and both of you agree jono was right with everything he said. Seems fair to me

I guess it's not just us who give away 90 minute goals. Funny that. COYR. -

I can sense your frustration now that you've been deprived of the ability to start another Warne Out thread. -
I preferred him before he left Genesis

What's even more bizarre than you constructing a timeline of our oppositions "chances" is that someone else on the forum has actually applauded your efforts. -
Should start a poll asking which forum members will be unable to resist the temptation of starting another thread and for how long. My vote would be next time we fail to win a game.

"The wage bill is now running at about 45% of our revenues and I believe we've put a squad together that is there to compete with other clubs in this division and we'll continue to progress that moving forwards - but in a sustainable manner." Bit different to the quote Clowes made about our wage bill. -

I'm not really interested in what he had for tea last night or his favourite Backstreet Boy -
It's dead easy to throw out exceptions to the rule but these are exceptions....Slabhead, Lingaard, Pogba etc rather than proving the rule.
