OMG its still only Friday - what are your plans? How will you get to sleep? How can we make it go quicker? Or are you savouring it? Couldnt sleep last night but doing an A-Z of Derby players then really helped. Only got to N. Think I'm overly excited as didnt think could go tomorrow then Mr CBR sacrificed himself to accompany Baby CBR to offer holder day. 3 alarms already set. Aaargghhh!!

I was just going to post this also - how brilliant to think to do that whilst celebrating too.

We have worn ours for other things so have come in very handy

Perhaps the solution is for the club to announce should we win or draw Adams will sign a new contract, pre-contract or whatever after the final whistle as long as fans stay off pitch

The main thing is that we actually go up!

Its such s long time ago sure we have all forgotten!

Knowing the likelihood of this perhaps plans could have been made for a half way house like at other events where fans come on pitch but there is a sort of safety area around the tunnel area kept free for club/player celebrations keeping everyone happy. The scenes outside ground few years back where players celebrated with fans were brilliant but not all fans can get to or run onto the pitch. I do get the joyous spontaneity of fans running on but it stops the team celebrating in safety

This is it for me. If we go up I will be overjoyed and I want to see the spontaneous final whistle celebrations of players and staff and who knows PW starting the bounce without them having to run off and celebrate in the tunnel/dressing room. If we go up and there is a pitch invasion we will have VAR subdued and delayed celebrations and perhaps nothing after. But we all know it will happen

If we go up and see Igor - for me it doesnt get better than that. Glad ordered one of the Igor flags now

Never met Daniel but spoke on here and have thought about him a fair bit this week in the build up to this and how out of control with loads of rallying threads he would have been on here this week 😂 I like to think he and the many others who saw the recent deep trough we were in but are now sadly missed will be there doing their bit from above to help get us back up

Did those timings still work on sombrero day or did the additional wind resistance delay you? I wound my mum up this week saying that people were wearing sombreros again tomorrow - the look she gave me was equivalent of 1000 words, none good

If tomorrow is a good day, I just hope we can all just enjoy it

We wanted to move last year so renewed existing tickets to get lower price and moved as soon as other non-renewing seats released. Even if we go up some wont be renewing. We are in block that had no seats shown as free in first phase. But guess that only works if you will be renewing somewhere regardless not if only going if can move.

We could see it filling up from where we were sat - our fans did it perfectly filling out from the middle to both sides without obvious gaps. Also shall we say that with perhaps those that contributed to the local hospitality sector most on the sides with their later arrival, it seemed to help the singing

This. I truly thought we were going in admin. Everyone always says it'll take a big club to go before anything changes and I thought we were it. Added to that the terrible stuff we were going through with my dad's dementia (his first awful episode was the night we went into admin) and it was really rock bottom. Have felt quite emotional many times at PP since Christmas because of what going up represents and it hit me again yesterday at the game esp as Camb away was first match dad took me to. I cannot imagine what it feels like for David Clowes and his family. I dont care if other teams mock us if we do go up and celebrate it as if we've won the champions league as its not just the promotion and until it happens to their team in the same way they will never understand. I have always liked PW but at one stage I passed over to the just about had enough of this side of the argument after a negative spell but never stopped supporting and wanting us to win. But then I stopped doing the matchday prediction thread and Adams was signed. Not sure which had greatest effect! With the injuries he has had, especially to forward players, PW and his team have had a brilliant run-in. Hope we get the dream end next week with a win. Saw some idiot post thanks for promotion now bye bye on twitter. Words fail me. On the injuries front couple of weeks ago heard a radio discussion on EPL and how many coaches were linking increase in certain injuries to the additional time being played and general delays in games this season. Sure this will be discussed more Should have stuck with my initial view of PW that he is just what we needed post admin. Looking forward to him being the boss next season wherever we are.

My son cant remember us being promoted. After two years trying he's got into his dream course at uni. The only offerholder day is next Saturday in Southampton. Huge choice to make for next 6 years of his life. Thats fine I said we can go friday look round then and hopefully important bit is first thing Saturday then we can drive to match. Then the 12.30 reality hit me. Hence we went in home end yesterday and hung around to meet players. But devastated to miss it. Anyone have helicopter we can borrow?
