Watched on rtv and really enjoyed what I thought was going to be a tough game , Exeter looked pretty in all but the final third ( were we happy to allow that ?) but it quickly became men against boys , great result from a solid performance and we are right in the mix for top two

Didn’t playing under warne do the same for mc g last season too

Warne has made it plain from day 1 he has no interest in trying to look like Barcelona and loosing and I’m good with that

Makes you wonder if he reads forums or hears some of the stuff from the stands regards how crap and massively overrated he is rather than wanting away from warnes style of play and man management 👍

We may be miles apart on views on other areas of the forum but we certainly seem to be on the same page once it comes down to the real business of football 😂

Hope so , at this stage we really need to win every game , at least that’s my mindset in the lead up to every game 😂, though I do think every game in this league has the potential to be a bloody tough one for differing reasons game to game , not least the pressure is on us , personally I set myself the rule of not posting on the match thread until the next morning after, I never miss a game whether there in person or watch on rtv and like most fans I get caught up in the emotion results and performance s bring , I’m right in the middle of being torn between going all out gung ho like we have done earlier and being more solid as we seem to be trying to do the last few games , either one’s ok in hindsight if we get the result but bloody daft if we don’t 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Walking back to the car on Saturday someone near us said very loudly they hoped we didn’t get promotion to get that bastxrd out , that and some of the stuff on here is just beyond me , it’s not like we defend defend defend , spoil the games and try to constantly smash long high balls , we’ve been too gung ho at times for me which seems to be changing in an effort to become less wide open to counter attacks , from what I can see warne wants the ball out wide for pacy players like nml and the new winger to cause havoc in a league where he feels most teams just flood the middle of the park and stifle any effort at football , three promotions , derby top scorers so far this season ,,,,, he may just have a point 🤷🏻‍♂️

My worry with that is much as I love Wilson he does have the propensity to overdo the trickery and lose the ball and not too sure my heart would survive too much of that if played in that position 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe the league being poorer encourages these teams to get better at being poor , digging in and spoiling games 🤷🏻‍♂️

Agony and ecstasy, same as it ever was being a derby fan , probably the same for 99% of football fans 🤷🏻‍♂️🐏😀

Like a league1 club battling to get promoted from league 1, players very inconsistent, seen some dross , seen some cracking goals , seen some really good passages of play , seen us not be able to string two passes together, it’s competitive football at league 1 level , it’s not a play or a film , it’s not scripted, I go from head in hand to out my seat cheering and back again 🤷🏻‍♂️
