  1. That would be the Portsmouth one then. Memory still about holding together.
  2. Got 1 in 24 two years ago. His resume isn't the best either. Had a lot of clubs. He looks to have found his feet at league 1 level and at 28 it's probably as good as he's getting. I'd probably take Phillips. 26, quick feet and 10 goals from midfield. A year left on contract so a reasonable fee may be accepted with sell on.
  3. Jesus H 😂 More than anything, though, it is the spoiled and self-entitled response of a club whose owner has a history of this. It is only three years since Olympiakos, also owned by Evangelos Marinakis, criticised the “darkest days of Greek refereeing ever”. A specific target of that criticism was the president of the “central refereeing committee”, who Olympiakos said they were withdrawing “confidence” in. The individual? Mark Clattenburg, who by 2024 Marinakis had enough confidence in to employ as Forest refereeing consultant.
  4. That'll be our very own De Marco I assume. You know the one they all referred to as a loophole merchant when we used him.
  5. Even better. 😂 https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/nottingham-forest-fume-gary-nevilles-32647665
  6. Best i've seen one on one with a goalie play for us. Pretty sure he's the only Derby player I've seen get a hat trick of free kicks as well. Think it was against Portsmouth.
  7. He spent the afternoon attacking Forest players and drinking their blood followed by an evening of sucking the lifeblood out their fanbase. This was him 10 mins before kick off.
  8. Did notice that. If the Gallagher brothers owned a draughty gothic mansion, this fecker would be the housekeeper opening the door. "You've met our Lurchio then"
  9. As a Luton fan it's ideal that Everton are 7 points from them rather than 5 and Forest don't have another point that would mean that erm... there still catchable with one win as before including goal difference.. Really is hysterical
  10. The expectation of football to be entertaining and your team to be successful has increased as the price of going to watch it has increased. When you spent £8 quid shovelled into a standing area with a pillar in the way, your more concerned with dealing with an exploding bladder and the 20 stone bloke who practically has you in a man hug and what damage he'll do if you score. This was normally exacerbated by the bloke 6 ft in front treating you with his 5 pints of bitter and pea mix arse perfume for 90 minutes with no escape. Your own seat, easy toilet access, a view of everything, no rain soaked clothes and 10k a week wages for players means the ticket price has trebled -or more- as has everything else. People expect more if they pay more. Same as any entertainment. It's the human psyche.
  11. Something I suggested when it came out but that would be too simple.
  12. You tell em Ian Herbert But Forest’s preposterous and disgraceful outburst — ‘like a fan in a pub, embarrassing’, as Jamie Carragher observed — took them into the sewers of the game, flying in the face of the professionalism we would expect of any club. The directive from those at the top of Forest that a tweet be sent, stating they had warned that VAR official Stuart Attwell was ‘a Luton fan’, comes a month after owner Evangelos Marinakas brought the club into disrepute by tearing down the tunnel after referee Paul Tierney following a late defeat by Liverpool. Football rages and seethes against perceived injustice every day, but Sunday was unprecedented. Who the hell do these people think they are? Would someone care to point out that six players have been sent off against Forest in the Premier League this season, two more than any other club? And that a number even more relevant to their dangerous league position is the lunatic £300million they spent on 43 players across three transfer windows after getting promoted — to no material effect. That put them in breach of spending rules and rightly docked four points. They’re claiming that’s wrong too, of course.
  13. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/18723569/huddersfield-penalties-nottingham-forest-var-referee-controversy/amp/ Remember that t*** they binned off Cook getting them all to sing songs about Jon Moss. ehttps://www.nottinghampost.com/sport/football/football-news/nottingham-forest-steve-cook-promotion-7145792
  14. He is getting paid by Marianakis to put out this verbal diarrhoea, yet talks like it's his own unbiased opinion. f****** chancer😂. He does know that he'll be forced to hide in the bunker with him after they lose to Burnley like all all good Ministers of Propaganda.
  15. Very unfortunate with the disallowed goal today. However, when they were in the s*** and about to be bought by asset strippers SISU for a pound, they got a lot of support from Derby as we had previously been their target. When we were in the s*** and a few months from going under, they gave us a rounding rendition of Derby County die and started throwing s*** at our fans. So feck em
  16. Just seen a programme on SKY about how Spurs brought the Croatian Connection to English football. Worra load of b*******.
  17. Wasn't the VAR official Atwell.? Shall we release his decisions for Forest in the 2-2 and make them look complete t****. Premier League will be after their blood now. They really are making themselves look complete t****.
  18. Edinburgh City in Scottish League 1 - a marvellous 8 points and minus 56 goal difference. Kept it up lads.
  19. Luton have an abysmal defence. They've lost energy to go with it after the games against Arsenal, Bournemouth etc. As I mentioned a few months ago, they did very well first round of games but second time around, I expected their limited tactics to not work again . That's basically what's happened. Everton are effectively on 1 win in 18 if you add on the 8 point deduction and lost 6-0 in their last match. Still 4 points from relegation after 1 win in half a season. Will never happen again . Keep an eye on Burnley though. If they win the next one there'll be a bit of a panic on.
  20. Burnley coming up quietly on the rails. But for a calamity goalie they'd be a point behind already.
  21. Got aa bit to gratuitous for the sake of shock. Very good for the first 3 episodes.
  22. Carlisle's results against the better sides are far better than those nearer the arse end where they've been bobbins. Won at Bolton, drew twice with Stevenage, win and draw against Peterborough, only lost by one at Portsmouth home and away. Need to play better than we did second half as they'll be loving a trip to Pride Park before they head to Hades in August. I feel we really need to push for a win. Only the best sides can want a draw and play for it. It takes a level of calculated ball retention we do not have.
