They missed out on a player in the summer as the chance to increase an offer wasn't there and the amount to be made up was close. Wasted money is wasted money. Far too much has gone on 3rd choice goalies and unfit loans.

Probably best not too waste wages on a 3rd choice goalie who'll never play then, if your looking at free transfers with other offers as well.

If any premier league club gets an actual points deduction I'll be amazed. The ones who are winning stuff/getting in Europe/avoiding relegation won't push as it won't suit their own agenda. The ones who've gone down after a few years will have played the skeleton in the closet game and won't want to risk any counter accusations which may damage their failure pot of money or close off an option for a quick return. The only ones who'll raise it as an issue are a one season up, not that likely to return club and they'll just laugh and not give a s***.
