  1. Ok. Everyone should get 10 challenges a game for whatever they like, apart from Forest, Leeds and Birmingham who get none, no in play VAR checks that may benefit them and every goal they score will be checked to see if half a b******* offside.
  2. VAR should be used for penalties and red cards only in play. Each team should be allowed 2 additional challenges per game- yellow cards, free kicks within 20 yards of the goal, pulling down at corners etc. With the last one Leicester don't win the league but probably get relegated instead. Everyone's a winner
  3. I hear a fair bit mate but don't really choose to impart a lot as if something doesn't pan out it's an hour of how do we know your weren't making it up/who's the source. I Posted a while ago though mate, as so much rubbish was doing the rounds re this move, that Brighton were willing last minute to agree to a loan back but a few weeks before had already lined up a loan out for the season to Ipswich or Blackburn. The delay to finalising things was Derby would not release Cashin without a replacement and contacted Ipswich to try and get a loan from them as cover to allow Cashin to be released to them. At the time Ipswich weren't prepared to to let the player go and Derby wouldn't sell without the cover. Brighton agreed to scrap the loan -and fee- late on to get the deal done but too late. It's possible but they now have the chance to shave money off the deal as it's later in the day and get that loan fee. Unless there is another interested party, I'd think that ships sailed. I wouldn't be surprised to see Derby go back to Ipswich for the player they were looking at if Cashin does go there on loan though. Big hint he's been here before and ain't playing a lot.
  4. My biggest memory of watching Man Utd play in the 90's was that if Paul Scholes played for Derby against them, he'd have had 6 red cards in 5 years. Filthy player who got away with murder every week.
  5. Sibley will get his normal game time- intermittent. As per Cashin, if Birds off he'll get very limited game time during December. The club won't risk the loss of revenue if fees are agreed for a January move
  6. Cashin will be off in January and I doubt we'll be able to push for a loan back this time . As such, I expect Bradley will get more game time to protect against injury for a sale and He'll be playing then anyway as We've got him for this season at least and probably two.
  7. One we didn't have to sell. Good old Wayne advised him to go as it was too good an opportunity. We could have sold him and kept Kellyman as they went for the same.
  8. If this is correct all 3 of those clubs can pay more, pay more wages and could offer a massive promotion bonus. Leeds, Sunderland, Blackburn, League 1 side in that order. That's your lot really.
  9. Been watching Paul Williams -How to clear the ball and influence play off finals - circa 94
  10. Better than Collins then in open play and no way we can know about whether those shots were easier or harder or great saves from the keeper. I'd imagine his average for Peterborough in their relegation season and last year at Fleetwood must be good. I've seen both him and Washington and he's a far more clever footballer, finds more space and can finish better. Just my opinion mind.
  11. He can't be getting that many chances at Fleetwood. Saw his goals and finishes at a higher level and in pressure games. I'd take him over any forward we've got. He had a bad spell when he was in the Sibley zone re pressured game time. With a decent midfielder providing chances, he'll get goals.
  12. Good Signing for 200k. He really seemed to like playing against Leeds which was a bonus. Also remember Ince calling us a bunch of a******** for unsettling him. Didn't think we were a******** when we were giving his wife scouting fees I bet. Also rather hilarious given his history of joining the Man Utd squad photo when he was still a West Ham player.
  13. 400-500 K to bring Marriott back ?. Averaging about 1 in 2 since going to Fleetwood. He'll get 20 goals in this division given Collins chances. Oxford had a 700k plus bid accepted but not completed before the window shut and we're a few months down the line.
  14. I'm just following the trend of the post for the last 7 or 8 hours and giving an opinion to other opinions placed as is the way of an open forum. Seems I'm certainly not the only one happy to vent at the absurdity of this competition.
  15. With his startling ability to keep appearing out wide rather than in the box, along with his exocet placement over the bar at 100mph when a side foot into the net will do, I fear that move won't come till the summer. He scored a good goal against Blackpool but not sure that will hold much in transfer or loan value in January.
  16. The rules seem to be basically " you can't try and get out of this tinpot competition by playing your U18's and losing 3-0 accidently on purpose. If you do we'll fine you two weeks of Hourihanes wages and that'll teach ya" A competition where they set out fines for trying to lose. Clearly held in high regard by all.
  17. I wouldn't mind Britt Ekland circa 1973 coming to indoctrinate me at the front door to be honest. You can have Christopher Lee
  18. Still may favourite. Can't beat your own manager beating out a cut price sale for one of your best players Of the bids that Derby have received for Knight, Warne added: "I don't think the offers that we've had for him have been offensive and they're not way off.But as always, the value of anything is in the purchase and not the seller. I could want to sell my house for 300 grand. But if I get three offers for 200 grand, I ain't getting 300 grand for it.
  19. A bit of a simplistic viewpoint to my mind. I'm happy for people to believe-and many genuinely do-in what keeps them centred in life so long as I'm not bothered with it and it's kept to themselves rather than preached. Anybody wants to believe in even older gods and spend their time at summer solstice wrapped in an orange bed sheet on a wicker trip that's fine as well. Whatever makes em happy.
  20. I agree. I see no reason why any Derby fan would find it amusing. We tried till February and then the new ones just made it worse and for 10 games they couldn't have gave less of a s***.
  21. Better to pay a fine at that price, go out the competition and keep your better players fit. Or play 4 players for a minute and sub the lot.
  22. If it gives them or family some comfort in their last bit of life I see no issue. It's the forcing of beliefs on others that's the issue. Not restricted to religion.
